Plan to track down basis of delay in government projects

The Higher Council for Planning and Development has devised a new method of following up the development plan through which it will be able to detect hidden facts about failure in execution of some developmental projects in the country.

He said the Secretariat General for Planning Development has started preparing the second list of officials who were found wanting in execution of development projects.

The source revealed that Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Minister of State Planning Affairs and Development Hind Al-Sabeeh initiated the idea, which will reveal names and job titles of supervision and follow up of projects, adding that the initiative will also specify during the execution and delivery.

He explained that the idea was introduced based on the need to unveil reasons behind failures, affirming that this information will be included in the second list to be presented to the Cabinet soon.
