Pinoy Snappers marks 1st anniversary and induction of officers

Group of Filipino photographers called 'Pinoy Snappers' celebrated its first anniversary and official induction of its first sets of officers at the Kuwait Hyatt Hotel on Friday night in the presence of Charges D’ Affaires Atty. Raul Dado.

The event commenced with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and of Kuwait. A welcome remark was addressed by the President-elect Arthur Saclolo. CDA Atty. Dado delivered a brief inspirational speech on the occasion. The new set of officers was later called to come up on stage for their taking of oath of office;  Arthur Saclolo – President, Alvin Baltazar and Raul Rocaberte – Vice Presidents, Celeste Barreto – Secretary, Rainel Garcera – Treasurer, Brenda Corpuz – Public relations Officer, Azel Rogares – Auditor, Arman Berza, Matzkie Canunua, Lhaven Steve Mohd Sali – Board Members, Laurencio Bolusan Jr. – Mentor. Certificates were awarded to the members and were followed immediately by the ceremonial cutting of the cake by the officers and CDA Atty. Dado.

Among the highlights of the night were judges choosing winners among the entrees of photos on display. Rod Sarile bagged the first prize and Raul Rocaberte won the second prize. Vocal renditions by noted singer and other guest performers Rowena Tinio added glitz to the night and parlor games perked the night’s occasion followed by a hearty buffet dinner.
