Pinoy Fiesta 2015 starts with a bang

LuLu Hypermarket, the popular destination for amazing promotions, announced the launch of ‘Pinoy Fiesta 2015’, a celebration of the lively and varied culinary culture of the Philippines.The festival was inaugurated by the chief guests, Ambassador of Philippines to Kuwait H.E. Renato Villa and Labor Attaché Cesar L. Chavez Jr. in the presence of LuLu management on 1 October at the hypermarket’s Salmiya outlet.

With the sensational promotion taking place in all its outlets from 30 September to 10 October, LuLu Hypermarket is highlighting popular Filipino food brands,as well as a range of fish and food items at attractive prices.

The Pinoy Fiesta 2015 aims to engage consumers in a shared experience of enjoying the amazing diversity of Filipino food along with various food related activities. Seeking to stimulate activity in the young minds during the festival, there was a children’s cultural program on 1 October at the Salmiya outlet and on other dates. This will act as a platform for children to display their pride in the rich cultural heritage of the Philippines.

There is also a unique opportunity for visitors to participate in a Filipino Cooking and Carving competitions on 3 October at the Al Rai outlet and win great prizes. Other fun and interesting activities for patrons of varying ages and interests include a Philippines related drawing competitions, Raffle Draws in all outlets on specific dates and much more. Moreover, no one will leave empty handed as there are many gifts and prizes awaiting all participants.

The highlight of the splendid food fest is a live-cooking demonstration by Filipino food brand Mama Sita's specialist Chef Arthur Manaog at the hypermarket’s Salmiya and Al Rai outlets. Chef Manaog will disperse cooking advice and interact with the audience, particularly fans of his delightful cooking style.
