Being able to cook tasty yet healthy food, in a limited amount of time, is an essential part of a happy lifestyle. However it can be difficult, and time consuming, to find cooking methods that reduce substances such as fat, and also produce flavorsome results. Building on the success of its ever-popular, original Airfryer model, Philips – the world’s leading low fat fryer brand – has unveiled its next generation Viva Collection Airfryer TurboStar.

With this next generation Airfryer TurboStar, it is now even easier to prepare the food you love in a healthier way, without compromising on taste. It minimizes the need for unhealthy fats, empowering you to make great, homemade meals every day.

New TurboStar Technology

With its new TurboStar technology, you can prepare delicious, evenly-cooked food with up to 80% less fat. This builds on the original Airfryer’s Rapid air technology, which lets you cook food with little to no added oil, resulting in healthier fried, baked, grilled and roasted meals. After selling over 5 million Airfryer appliances worldwide, Philips has developed this technology to further enhance the cooking experience. Mimicking the properties of a turbine to improve air flow circulation, the appliance’s new TurboStar technology swirls hot air continuously throughout the whole cooking chamber, resulting in more homogenous heat distribution and more evenly cooked food. This constant, circulating heat ensures all food is cooked through simultaneously, without the need for turning. In addition to this, powerful direct heat from above quickly crisps the food on the outside, while the inside remains tender, for great tasting dishes every time.

Additionally, with the Quick Clean basket – which includes a removable non-stick mesh – cleaning becomes a breeze. The removable non-stick coated drawer and the food basket are also dishwasher safe for added cleaning convenience.

Small in size, big in capacity

As modern kitchens become smaller, saving space is increasingly important – as is having a stylish product that fits your interior decor. The new Airfryer TurboStar has been carefully designed to ensure it easily fits onto the counter top, and that you can easily store the device and have instant access to it. The sides have been slimmed down and the top has been lowered and angled, whilst still maintaining the iconic Airfryer shape. Now 20% smaller, the new Airfryer TurboStar is space efficient whilst allowing you to fry up to four servings (800g of food).

With over 200 easy-to-make and tasty dishes to try, the Airfryer TurboStar is a one-stop solution for all of your favorite meals.

Vincenzo Ventricelli, Market Leader Philips Middle East and Turkey, says: “We understand that when juggling a busy personal and work life, it can be difficult to prepare tasty yet healthy food, at home. Philips is continuously exploring ways to make every meal an opportunity for better health. Our new Airfryer TurboStar provides a quick, easy and fuss-free way to cook food with up to 80% less fat. Finally, the dilemma of healthy nutrition is solved: you can now create dishes which taste great, whilst still making healthy choices!”

The product is available at all leading hypermarkets and electronics retailers.
