Philippine Airlines has launched its first flights to Kuwait International Airport, Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) announced on Monday.

DGCA's Director of the Department of Air Transport Abdullah Al-Rajhi told the press, while receiving the first of these flights at the airport, that the move will further promote bilateral ties and serve common interests. The Manila-Dubai-Kuwait flight will operate four times a week, the Airlines Area Manager Orty Liscano said.

The Philippine Airline was founded in 1941 and is the first and oldest commercial airline operating under its original name.
