Philippine Chef Society Kuwait Chapter takes oath of office

The first set of officers of The Philippine Chef Society Kuwait Chapter attended their oath taking ceremony held on the premises of the Philippine Embassy and officiated by the Philippine Ambassador to Kuwait H.E.  Renato Pedro Villa on 19 March. The special occasion ended with a birthday song as the event coincided with the birthday of the Philippine envoy. Members of the newly formed organization sampled lunch, which was catered by the embassy staff.

They also had the opportunity to take photos with officials of the Philippine Embassy including Raul Dado, former Consul general of the embassy and now the Executive Director of the office of the undersecretary for migrant workers affairs. Newly inducted officers to their positions were President: Antonio Santos, Vice President (membership affair): Antonio Barojado, Vice President (event affair): Rhon de Vera,  Secretary: Cris Ricafort, Assistant Secretary: Rodrigo Martinez, Treasurer: Ramil Dela Cruz, Assistant Treasurer: John Fernando, Auditor: Lyndon Dagsindal, Assistant Auditor: Jayson Quiambao and PRO: Aubrey Delmoro, Council of the board: Rodolfo Sunga Jr, Event council: Allan Silva, Bonifacio Pontawe and Membership council: Marlon Reyes and Marc Philip Cuevas.

Among the projects listed in the group’s calendar of activities include feeding programs for OFW women currently housed in the shelter, culinary classes for the distressed OFWs and culinary classes in cooperation with CEE Network. Officers of the Philippine Chef Society in Manila sent their congratulatory messages to the group and expressed their support to organization’s first overseas chapter. Philippine Ambassador also delivered a brief message to the group.
