The Directorate General of Sentences Execution has announced the opening of its office at Kuwait International Airport to serve passengers at the arrival and departure sections who need to pay fines for traffic and other violations.
In a press statement, the Ministry of Interior explained the office was closed for some time to pave way for expansion works. It explained the office also collects fines related to criminal rulings, in addition to misdemeanor, municipality and trade fines. The office operates round the clock to enable the arriving and departing passengers to settle their fines, which will be deleted from the system once payment is made.
For those having cases related to temporary withdrawal of driving and commercial licenses or closure of business activity, they should visit the Department of Sentences Execution, the statement added.
