The Deputy Director-General for Aviation Safety and Air Transportation Affairs Emad Al- Jalawi said the Directorate-General of Civil Aviation is receiving complaints from passengers who feel their rights have been violated, reports Al-Qabas daily.

He went on to say these complaints are then referred to the concerned authority to issue a decision concerning compensation for those who deserve. Al-Jalawi mentioned the concerned department at the Air Transportation Department investigates each complaint filed against the travel and tours offices and airline companies.

In case it is proved a violation has been committed against the regulations and rules, the complaint will be immediately referred to the concerned committee to issue the necessary decision. He stressed the complainant can refer to the judiciary if he/she feels proper justice has not been done.
