Parle-G, primarily eaten as a tea-time snack, is one of the oldest biscuit brand from India produced by the largest biscuit maker Parle Products. Parle has consolidated its position as the world's largest selling biscuit brand, and the whole range is brought to you in Kuwait by Al-Othman & Al-Bisher Trading Co. (OBTC)

History of Parle: In 1929, a small company by the name of Parle Products emerged in British dominated India. The goal was to spread joy and cheer to the children and adults alike, all over the country with its sweets and candies. A decade later, the Parle factory located in the suburbs of Mumbai was upgraded to manufacture biscuits and the famous “Parle-G” was born. Since then, the Parle name has spread in all directions and has won international fame. Parle has been sweetening the lives of people all over India and abroad for decades.

Who’s that baby girl on the pack? – After many theories and grapevine spreading over the decades, the baby girl on the pack of Parle-G finally has an identity. It is only recently that the company has put all the folklore to rest and disclosed that the girl’s picture is an illustration by an Everest creative back in the 1960s.
