MP Talal Al-Jalal has demanded Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Commerce and Industry and Acting Minister of Education and Higher Education Abdulmohsen Al-Mudej to take immediate decisions regarding the issue of private schools increasing their fees without any reasonable justifications, reports Al-Qabas daily.

MP Al-Jalal said some private schools recently increased their fees due to the failure of Ministry of Education in properly carrying out its supervisory role. He revealed that the parents of those students who attend private schools organized a sit-in to protest against the hike of school fees as they are unable to manage the payment of such fees with their incomes. MP Al-Jalal stressed the need for the minister to take serious steps for solving this issue.
