PSA organizes Pakistan Day T20 Cricket Cup

Pakistan Sports Association (PSA) Kuwait organizes Pakistan Day T20 Cricket Cup 2017 on 24 March at Jaleeb Al Shuyoukh. T20 Cricket Cup match was played between Jinnah XI and Iqbal XI. Jinnah Xi won the toss and elected to bat first and they scored 195 runs in allotted 20 overs, which were achieved comprehensively by Quaid XI in 20th over. Don Manju was declared Man of the Match due to his outstanding all round performance of 43 runs and 1 wicket which led his team in victory by 4 wickets.

A prize distribution ceremony was held at the end. President of Pakistan Sports Association Kuwait Maqbool Ahmed, PSA Founder/Director General Muhammad Irfan Adil, Advisor M. Irfan Shafiq, Executive Member Shahbaz Ali, Fiaz Ahmed were among the guests. Many dignitaries and cricket lovers watched the thrilling game. Jinnah XI captain Mr. Ijaz received the Runner up Trophy while Iqbal XI clinched the Winner Trophy, received by Captain Fazil. At this stage, PSA Founder/Director General Muhammad Irfan Adil highlighted the ideology of Pakistan Day.

President PSA Mr. Ahmed, said that PSA is engaging the youth and community in positive and healthy sports activities. It is an avenue for camaraderie and to develop a sense of belonging among individuals in the shared pursuit of sport and to provide an outlet for advanced participation and competition in a particular sport. PSA is a non-political, non partisan and non-governmental organization, founded by Muhammad Irfan Adil on 14 August.

Headed by Maqbool Ahmed and powered by sports lovers. PSA is organizing sports events and festivals among the community with collaboration of local sports authorities and will work together with local organizations and charities to enhance the standing and awareness of the benefits of sport and exercise. At the end, M.Irfan Shafiq, PSA Advisor, thanked all the guests for witnessing the thrilling game of cricket. Certificates of participation were presented to all players and match officials by distinguished guests.
