PSA Kuwait organizes Youm-E-Takbeer T20 Cricket Cup

Pakistan Sports Association Kuwait recently organized Youm e Takbeer T20 Cricket Cup 2016 at PSA Minhaj Cricket ground Khaitan.

Final match was played between Friends Cricket Club and Kuwait Energy Cricket team. Kuwait Energy team captain won the toss and was elected to bat first. They scored 187 runs in allotted 20 overs, which were achieved comprehensively by Friends Cricket Club players in 19 overs. Mr. Omar was declared man of the match due to his outstanding innings of 76 runs which led his team in victory by 7 wickets.

At the end, final match prize ceremony was held. Pakistan Qirrat and Naat Council Kuwait (PQNCK) Patron-in-Chief, Shamshad Khan Tanoli and Jahanzeb Usman President ANP, Kuwait, Mr. Babar, PSA Founder/Director General Muhammad Irfan Adil, Advisor Irfan Shafiq, Executive Member, Farzan Tariq and Mr. Saad were among the guests.

Kuwait Energy won the runners up trophy while Friends Cricket Club Kuwait were awarded with the winner trophy, received by Captain Muddassar Iqbal.

Maqbool Ahmed, President PSA said that Pakistan Sports Association Kuwait (PSA) is constantly engaging the Youth and community in positive and healthy sports activities. It is an avenue for camaraderie and to develop a sense of belonging among individuals in the shared pursuit of sport and to provide an outlet for advanced participation and competition in a particular sport.

PSA is a non-political, non partisan and non-governmental organization, founded by Muhammad Irfan Adil on 14 August, 2013. PSA has been organizing sports events and festivals among community with collaboration of local sports authorities and will work together with local organizations and charities to enhance the standing and awareness of the benefits of sport and exercise.

Younas Shahid, Vice President in the end thanked all the guests for witnessing the thrilling game of cricket.
