PEFK organized Interschool National Song Competition

Pakistan Employment Forum Kuwait (PEFK) celebrated its third anniversary with an 'Interschool Pakistan National Song Competition' last Friday at Kuwait Center of Autism auditorium, Mishref. Students from six well known schools from the Pakistani community, namely International school Pakistan Kheitan, Pakistan English school Jaleeb Al-Shuyoukh, Pakistan School Mangaf, Pakistan Sunshine School Hawally, Hawally Pakistan English School and Pakistan School Salmiya, participated in the competition.

Nadiya Mohammad and Waqas Ahmed conducted the event, which started with verses from the Holy Quran recited by Qari Mohammad Sohaib Anjum followed by the National Anthem of both countries.

Naat (Nasheed) was presented by Junior Section of ISP trained by Robeela Ghazal, President Pakistan Qirrat and Naat Council for women Kuwait.  Amjad Ahmed, Munir Faraz, and Robeela Ghazal were judges for the interschool competition.

Ambassador of Pakistan H.E. Muhammad Aslam Khan was the chief guest of the event. After the competition, the Chief Guest praised the progress and efforts of PEFK.

Vote of thanks was presented by Founder and President PEFK Muhammad Irfan Adil. He highlighted the group's achievements that included helping hundreds of jobless peoples get job placement, Career Guidance, Professional CV writing services, Professional Training for working professionals and Career guidance Seminars for Students.

He briefly explained about Pakistan Employment Forum Kuwait and stated that PEFK is a premier and first ever Pakistani Forum of its kind in State of Kuwait which is purely designated to provide assistance for job seekers and career counseling for students residing in Kuwait especially among Pakistanis.

He added that PEFK is a non-Political and non-Governmental organization. It is a social welfare group which was inaugurated on 27 January, 2012 with a vision to provide career guidance to jobseekers and students, mainly Pakistani citizens in Kuwait, and help those in need of assistance in their career development, with no limitations of religion, nationality, race or ethnicity. "We are here to serve humanity and the career of all humans is precious to us. We aim to provide the Best Career Development Counseling and Job Hunting guidance to our community in Kuwait, " he said. He emphasized the continuation of this mission effectively,

PEFK Team was honored and appreciated for their remarkable contribution and services to the community in the noble cause of career development.

Irfan Adil Thanked PEFK Executive Council which includes Muhammad Nawaz , Kashif Shahzad, M.Irfan Shafiq, Eng. Waqas Ahmed, Maqbool Ahmed, Aaqib Shah, Nayab Khan, Nadeem Akbar, Zohaib, Ali Hyder, Akhtar Naveed, Muhammad Zeeshan, Ms Shamsa Kanwal, Muhammad Imran Khan, Atif Aziz Ahmed, Aqeel Khan, Farid Khan, Muhammad Riaz, Khalil Ahmed Rajput, Bushra Waqas, Dr. Mohsin Mehmood, Dr. Attiya Anjum, Dr. Tanveer Ahmed, Dr.Amna Altaf, Dr.Saima Suhail, Ms. Nadiya Muhammad, Noman Akhtar Minhas, M. Younas Shahid, Muhammad Labib, Adnan Yousaf, Waseem, Suhail Anwar for their hard work and contribution to make this event successful.

Later, two special National Songs were presented by Junior Section of ISP Khaitan trained by Robeela Ghazal, President Pakistan Qirrat and Naat Council for women Kuwait.

Pakistan English School was declared the winner while Pakistan Mangaf School received 2nd position and International School Kheitan with 3rd position respectively. H.E. Muhammad Aslam Khan along with Preseident Pakistan Business Council, Arif Butt handed over the trophy and shields to the winning team.

There were around 300 people from the community attended this event. The event was sponsored by multiple corporations; significant in-kind sponsorship was received from Mais Alghanim, Al Shaya Printing Co, Xerox (Alghanim) and AlYasra Foods. The event ended with great inspiration and with Dua.  Refreshment was served to all guests.
