PDA launches drawing competition for students

Pathanamthitta District Association (PDA), Kuwait is conducting a drawing competition for students of Indian Schools in Kuwait in connection with it’s Onam Festival celebration Sraavana Pournami 2016.

The drawing competition consists of pencil drawing and watercolor painting, and it will be divided into Sub-junior, Junior and Senior groups with students of 1st to 4th Standards in Sub-junior Group, students of 5th to 9th Standards in Junior Group and students of 10th to 12th Standards in Senior Group. The Children of all Indian expatriates in Kuwait are eligible for participation.  The students who are registered to appear in the competition must bring their own pencils and art materials, while the drawing sheet will be provided by the Association.

The competition will be held from 8:30 am to 10:00 am at Indian Central School, Abbassiya on Friday, 21 October 2016, i.e., on the same day of the event. Prizes for the Winners will be presented by Malayalam Cinema’s prominent Playback Singer Shri. G. Venugopal during the Onam celebrations function. All the participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.
