Minister of Justice and Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Yaaqoub Al-Sane' affirmed Friday that the Public Authority for Minor Affairs (PAMA) puts its resources at the disposal of juvenile persons.
The authority supports various activities of minors particularly those relating to the promotion of education in collaboration with many specialized colleges, he said in a speech delivered on his behalf by PAMA Director General Barrak Al-Shitan at a ceremony to honor distinguished minors.
The ceremony saw the awarding of the ideal student of the PAMA program for 2014-2015. The minister noted that the authority helps the talented students pursue higher education through paying the fees of their education at certain scientific specializations.
He thanked the parents of the distinguished students for encouraging their children to continue schooling and gaining specialized knowledge. Al-Sane' also thanked the board members and staffers of PAMA for their efforts to help the minors and facilitate their study.
