Orientation at Scientific Excellence Academy

Bhavans through its various ventures, has been creating awareness in students about the emerging trends in the field of education and career, and has been guiding them aptly to achieve their goals.

SEAK, another venture of Bhavans’ Kuwait has crossed a major milestone. It now functions independently under the name Scientific Excellence Academy, set up in Salmiya, Block 10, Kuwait.

Scientific Excellence Academy Kuwait (SEAK) organized an orientation programme for the students and parents at Indian Educational School, Kuwait on 2 April, 2016.The purpose of the program was to enlighten the students and parents about the objectives and conduct of the Foundation and Coaching classes and to ensure parental involvement in monitoring the performance and progress of their wards.

T. Premkumar, Principal, Indian Educational School, Kuwait in his address to the gathering, stressed on the importance of conceptual learning. He also acquainted the students with the changing trends in examinations and reiterated the importance of being focused and goal oriented. More insight on SAT examinations and the apt time to take it was also given by Mr. T. Premkumar.

Coordinator of SEAK, Anselma Tessy in her presentation highlighted the content, objective and the methodology of the courses at SEAK. The Foundation Program focuses on strengthening the students’ conceptual clarity of the fundamentals in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry (Biology for class 9&10) and Reasoning. The course and tests are designed so as to inculcate the habit of application of concepts, thereby paving way for effective learning. Valuable information regarding the IIT JEE/AIPMT Examinations and SAT was shared during the presentation.

Meghavarnika a student of SEAK who has an excellent academic track record, shared her experience at SEAK with the audience and received applause. The commendable performers for the academic year 2015-2016 were accorded merit certificates.

In his concluding talk, Chairman of Bhavans Middle East, N. K. Ramachandran Menon accentuated the aim of SEAK and reinforced the importance of being focused and goal oriented, the hallmark of Bhavans’ ventures.
