Ooredoo Kuwait launched the long-anticipated iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus across the country in a special ceremony. The event took place in Ooredoo’s headquarters in Kuwait City at 9 pm on Wednesday, 29 October, and carried on until the early hours of Thursday, 30 October, the official launch date of the two new iPhone devices.
It was attended by customers who pre-purchased or pre-booked their devices, as well as local media and social media influencers. The special celebration event included live entertainment and Ooredoo-branded gifts for all attendees.
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are now available with Shamel plans startingat KD 30, using the most advanced network in Kuwait. Ooredoo is also the first telecom provider offering customers with two iPhones for a single plan with its Shamel 58 plan.

The new iPhones include iOS 8, the biggest release since the App Store, featuring a simpler, faster and more intuitive user experience with new Messages and Photos features, predictive typing for Apple’s QuickType keyboard and Family Sharing. iOS 8 also includes the new Health app, giving you a clear overview of your health and fitness data and iCloud Drive, so you can store files and access them from anywhere.
The new iPhonesare available for pre-order on Ooredoo’s website as long as quantities are available. After booking, customers can choose the location they prefer to pick their device from, or opt for delivery.
In addition, iPhone 5s will be available starting at KD 18/month and iPhone 5c will be available at KD 15/month.
