Ooredoo Kuwait, a member of the Ooredoo Telecom Group has partnered with the Alliance of Filipino Organizations in Kuwait (ALLFIL-OK) to stage two of the star-studded events of Filipino artists in June. Fahad Al Fahad of Ooredoo Kuwait and the Alliance of Filipino Organizations in Kuwait (ALLFIL-OK) represented by Over-all Coordinator Dr. Chie Umandap endorsed an agreement to bring to Kuwait outstanding diversion to Filipinos and expatriates in the country.
The “Musika at Tawanan 3” concert also presented by TFC-OSN will showcase multitalented Filipino actress and world-class diva Vina Morales backed-up by hilarious comedians Iya and Tekla. The event is in cooperation with the Philippine Embassy and in celebration of the 18th Philippine Migrant Workers Day to be staged on June 6 at the Al-Arabi Gym in Mansouriya.
The “Musika at Tawanan 4” sponsored by GMA Pinoy TV-My HD will feature Asia’s Pop Sweetheart Julie Anne San Jose and comedienne Gladys Guevara. The event is also in cooperation with the Philippine Embassy to mark the celebration of the Philippine Independence Day. The show will be held on June 13 at the Al-Arabi Gym in Mansouriya. The gate will open at 1pm and the show will start at 5pm for both shows.
Ooredoo’s partnership with ALLFIL-OK is in with the company’s several programs across Kuwait. This comes as part of the Ooredoo Group vision, which the company adopted after it fully embraced the Ooredoo brand on May 22.
“We are very happy to be a part of the two big events of Filipinos this June. There will be a lot of gifts and surprises from Ooredoo,” stated Al Fahad during the signing ceremony.
On the other hand, Umandap on behalf of ALLFIL-OK expressed thanks to Ooredoo for supporting the Musika at Tawanan 3 and 4 on June 6 and 13 respectively.
“We thank Ooredoo for the trust and confidence. We will always deliver excellent entertainment in which that ALLFIL-OK is known for. We will be showcasing the best of the Filipino talents. We are inviting everyone to join us on June 6 and 13,” commenetd Umandap.
The two-hour show will be hosted by Manila-based showbiz reporter Rey Pumaloy together with Maxxy Santiago (ABS-CBN Middle East Correspondent), Ben Garcia (Filipino Panorama Editor) and Ricky Laxa (The Morning Talk host and director). The event will also feature local talents for the front act such as the KFMO dancers. FCC Dancers, Immabeast, The Next Episode and other surprise numbers. Laxa is directing the two shows.
The front act on June 6 which will have a Latino theme featuring songs of Shakira, J-Lo, Marc Anthony, Ricky Martin and Santana that will be performed by Sheila Manota, Jennifer Uy, Tanya Dawood, Bashayer, Shaima Khuraibet, Mishael and Ahmad (KFMO Beatboxers). On the other hand, the front act on June 13 will be featuring retro Pinoy songs and dances in the 70s and 80s with Chris Martin, Shaima Khuraibet, Ramon Onia, Abby Dado, KFMO All Girls,
