March 26, 2018, 2:31 pm

Oncost Cash & Carry, the first wholesale membership retail store in Kuwait, opened its 4th outlet in the country in Shuwaikh on 26 March. The new outlet was inaugurated by the Chairman of IFA Hotels & Resorts, Talal Jassem Al-Bahar, alongside the CEO of Oncost Cash & Carry, Saleh Al-Tunaib, and the COO of Oncost Cash & Carry, T.A. Remesh, in the presence of their excellences the Ambassadors to Kuwait, of Guyana, Mexico, South Korea, along with diplomats from the embassies of Turkey, Philippines and Indonesia, as well as top management, staff and well-wishers.

The new outlet is not only the largest Oncost store in Kuwait, but also the brand's first wholesale outlet in the Capital Governorate.

Oncost’s new branch offers customers the benefits of wholesale shopping in a modern retail environment that prioritizes significantly discounted prices to its customers. Wholesale shopping in a retail environment is a new and unique model that is unparalleled in Kuwait's wholesale market sector.

The brand’s pricing policy has been constructed to focus on competitive pricing by the unit and wholesale prices by the carton, thereby passing on substantial savings to its loyal customer base, particularly to those who make large volume purchases. Moreover, there are the added benefits of weekly promotions that see customers shopping for household staples gaining great savings.

In January 2018, Oncost launched its first and the only retail Membership Program that offers a cash-back reward of up to 4 percent. Registration to the Membership Program is free to all customers and can be used in all Oncost stores.

As part of its expansion drive, Oncost plans to open a new branch in Farwaniya Governorate in the immediate future, and more branches are slated to open shortly in the Hawally and Jahra Governorates. The expansion is in line with the company's strategy of extending its reach across Kuwait, while providing affordable prices to customers in all governorates.
