New Gulf Indian School (NGIS), for the first time in Kuwait, has introduced Malayalam and Tamil as the second and third languages along with Hindi, Sanskrit and French for students starting from Grade I. The students may choose any of these as a second or a third language. NGIS is looking forward to introducing a few other languages in the future. Students, particularly those who have opted for Malayalam and Tamil as their second language, feel more relaxed and show more interest in learning, as they receive appreciation and support from their native-speaking parents.
