Kuwait Municipality affirmed that it is studying an alternative site in South Amghara scrap yard area for housing expatriate workers after their authorities – Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR), survey Department and Kuwait Oil Company rejected the site that was selected initially.
In a letter to the Ministry of Public Works, Kuwait Municipality revealed that there are some obstacles which must be worked on before a representative of the ministry comes to receive the allocated land for housing expatriate workers.
Regarding the private schools complex project, it requested for services of the PAAAFR, Undersecretary of Ministry of Electricity and Water, Director of Survey Department, Undersecretary of Ministry of Public Works, Undersecretary of Ministry of Interior and Kuwait Oil Company for services in pthe present and future, indicating that the issue of its clash with the proposed road infrastructure has been referred to the Committee for Facilities and Services.
Regarding the Ministry’s complex project for serving the northern areas, Kuwait Municipality said it is sill waiting for the approval.
