AIG MEA Limited (Kuwait Branch) and Mubasher Holidays have partnered to launch a free travel insurance scheme for all Mubasher Holidays' clients. This benefit is made available free of charge through 3500 travel agencies across the Middle East when using Mubasher's online booking service.
Mubasher Holiday's Group General Manager, Ahmed Hamzawy, said: "the selection fell on AIG due to the company's excellent reputation internationally and the availability of its services globally".
Hamzawy added: "starting today customers will benefit from free comprehensive travel insurance upon booking through Mubasher Holidays' website through any travel agency in the Middle East."
The insurance provides various benefits and features such as:
1. In case of baggage loss verified by a common carrier the traveler will be compensated at a maximum of US $ 1,000 (One thousand US dollars) per person.
2. If the trip is cancelled for any compelling reason (death / illness), the insured or a relative is compensated for travel and accommodation expenses paid by the insured person with a maximum limit of US $ 2,000 (two thousand US dollars).
3. If an Insured Person whilst traveling on an Insured Journey incurs Medical Expenses as a result of Illness or Injury, the Company will pay for those expenses up to the amount of $ 50,000 (fifty thousand US dollars).
4. in case of death due to accident (common carrier), the company will pay a compensation of US $ 25,000 thousand (twenty-five thousand US dollars) per person.
