To mark the occasion of the 600th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Turkey and Poland, both countries held a photography exhibition titled ‘Mosques & Churches’ in cooperation with Kuwait’s National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters.
The photography exhibition, held at the Ahmad Al- Adwani Exhibition Hall in Dahiya Abdulla Al- Salem, displayed some of the oldest mosques and churches from the two countries. Welcoming the distinguished gathering, Ambassador of Turkey H.E. Murat Tamer, praised the historical relations between Turkey and Poland dating back 600 years.
He expressed a deep gratitude for this very long friendship with Poland. Ambassador of Poland H.E. Grzegorz Olszak in his address noted Poland’s historical relations with the Ottoman Empire and the special friendship Poland shared modern Turkey. He made special mention of the initiative of Ambassador Murat in holding the exhibition.
