The Interior Ministry has given the nod to monitor the activities and follow up both inside and outside the country those who are suspected of belonging to terrorist organizations, reports Al-Shahed daily.
According to reliable sources the State Security system has assigned secret agents to gather as much information as possible about those who belong to these organizations. The sources indicated there are women who adopt radical and extremist ideologies including Kuwaiti female preachers who promote the deviant thought and according to preliminary investigations some of them are members of the Islamic State or the so-called DAESH.
For his part, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Adel Al-Falah denied the presence of women promoting extremist ideology in Kuwait saying, “It is out of the question.” The sources confirmed the Interior Ministry is closely monitoring suspected persons belonging to DAESH, including financiers.
The daily added, the authorities have spotted some suspicious transfers and those who have transferred this money will be summoned for interrogation. It has been reported the Ministry of Interior has formed a security force especially trained to combat terrorism comprising officers and trained personnel who work found the clock and are directly affiliated to the Operations Room of the Ministry.
