The same sources added the instructions will be applied at the beginning of 2016, subsequent to report submitted to the Director General of the General Department of Weapon Investigation Major General Faraj Al-Zuabi indicating licenses had been issued to some 12,000 citizens for weapons in their possession and they declined to hand them over or renew them after the licenses expired.
