The Interior Ministry Monday announced seizure of largest ever quantity of marijuana in the possession of a Canadian citizen.
Criminal investigation personnel stormed the residence of the Canadian man and found 39 marijuana plants, in addition to some one kilogram of ready-to-sell marijuana and seeds ready for plantation, Assistant Undersecretary for Criminal Investigation Major-General Abdulhameed Al-Awadhi said in a statement.
The personnel arrested the Canadian, whose name was not disclosed, and seized all plants, seeds, fertilizers and unlicensed gun, said Al-Awadhi.
He said the investigations showed that the Canadian was one of the famous drug dealers in Kuwait.
Al-Awadhi commended the criminal investigation personnel for this arrest, and their relentless efforts to crack down on drug dealers and traffickers.
