The Minister of Interior affirmed on Sunday keenness on boosting scientific and military skills of security officers.
Major General Sheikh Faisal Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the MoI Assistant Undersecretary for Education and Training, made the re-affirmation as he chaired an educational gathering for the ministry's general directors serving in the sectors of education and training. This approach is also adopted through updating the teaching curricula and enhancing accommodation capacity at Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences.
Maj. Gen. Sheikh Faisal added that a strategy for preparing the academy students would be mapped out during the coming two months, pending submission to the higher security leadership for endorsement. He added that applicants would be able to enroll in 38 specializations.
He noted necessity of changing the methods and policies of educating the cadets, in line with guidelines of the Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
