Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Learning and Education Major General Sheikh Faisal Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah said Sunday that the Ministry is focusing on upgrading the skills of law enforcers to achieve comprehensive security for the society.
The Ministry has ambitious, diverse and world-class theoretical and practical training programs to harness these skills and enhance the performance of policemen, a statement by the MoI's Security Media Department quoted Sheikh Faisal as saying at the inaugural speech of a symposium, organized by the Security Strategy Studies of the National Security College.
He also stressed importance of expanding cooperation with all government and non-government organizations operative in the country to counter different kinds of crimes.

He added that the symposium will also tackle hot issue of striking a balance between security, law enforcement and respect of human rights.
