MoI announces interrogation of Imam Al-Sadiq mosque attack's suspects
The Interior Ministry said it interrogated some people suspected of involvement in the attack against Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque downtown Kuwait on Friday. Director of Security Media Department Brigadier Adel Al-Hashash said in a statement the ministry interrogated some of the suspects of Al-Sawaber mosque attack that killed 27 people and injured 227 others.
The ministry, in another statement, urged people to neglect rumors regarding the cowardly terrorist attack, which aimed at undermining security of the country. It said the security forces would pursue the perpetrators as soon as possible to bring them to justice.
It urged people to go the criminal investigation department to provide any valuable information they thought would help in the capture of the attackers.
