The Ministry of Education is currently studying the proposal of Askar Al-Enezi to increase the number of religious institutes for students in all academic stages. The project includes the construction of new religious institutes in the six governorates and renovation of the existing ones in order to accommodate more students in the elementary and intermediate stages, especially those for girls in Jahra and Ahmadi governorates.
The concerned officials have discussed all aspects of the project, followed by a decision to lay down an integrated vision which will be presented to Assistant Undersecretary for Public Education Affairs Fatima Al-Kandari.
The Ministry of Education has confirmed that it needs expatriate teachers in 11 fields of specialization for the school year 2016/2017, clarifying it will only recruit Kuwaiti teachers instead of expatriates in four specializations – Electricity and Electronics, Decoration, Philosophy and Islamic Education.
The ministry requires expatriate teachers for English, Arabic, French, Maths, Music Education, Technical Education, Physical Education, Geology, Biology, Physics and Chemistry. The ministry will exempt Bedoun and GCC teachers from the condition of years of experience in all specifications, as well as the condition of experience in Music and Physical Education subjects.
