Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Dr. Bader Al-Issa affirmed keenness on taking serious steps to determine systems and terms of promotion in terms of leadership and supervision. The minister made the statement on Tuesday during a graduation ceremony of the Leaders Academy, affiliated to Kuwait Teachers Society.
These steps are in line with policies aiming to develop education and achieve the desired goals through placing qualified calibers at proper places, he added.
Among these steps is the retirement for those who served at least 30 years at work in accordance with the resolution issued by the government, he said.
Such steps will be in favor of all employees serving in all sectors, he pointed out. Meanwhile, Waleed Ibrahim Al-Hassawi, the society's head, said that the society, in collaboration with Kuwait University's Center for Community Services and Continuing Education, has been providing distinguished and purposeful training courses for trainees for seven years.
The academy plays a significant role in line with the society's pioneering and ambitious steps so as to promote professional development, he added.
