Ministry of Justice on Tuesday will launch electronic including electronic lawsuit, in an event expected to be patronized by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah in the presense of the Minister of Justice, Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Yaqoub Al-Sane' at the premises of Kuwait Institute for Legal and Constitutional Studies, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
The daily quoting a source noted the event will include presentation of, numerous electronic services to be provided by the ministry in terms of declaring status, real estate indicators, performance order, SMS, file follow-up and payment of rents. Other services include those linked to other ministries as regards e-payment for travel ban, arrest and expenses, he noted.
Several top government functionaries are expected to attend the event, including Acting Undersecretary at the Ministry of Justice Dr. Bader AI- Zamanan, assistant undersecretaries from the ministry and other senior staff, and information technology experts. Meanwhile, senior officials from the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs disclosed that Minister Yaqoub AI- Sane' has issued directives through the Finance and Administrative Affairs Sector to specify the number of mosques in the country in coordination with Information Systems Department ahead of the installation of fingerprint system in 1,487 mosques in the current month, reports Al-Qabas daily.
Sources noted the fingerprint system will be applied on all muezzins at the outset and later imams, The decision follows several complaints the ministry received-from worshippers saying some imams and muezzins rely on cleaners to do 'imamate' job in their absence. Meanwhile, the ministry is coordinating with the Faculty of Sharia to count the number of graduates from the faculty to specify a mechanism to attract many graduates with new privileges before their graduation to take up jobs as Imam.
