Minister of Social Affairs and Labor and Minister of State for Planning and Development Hind Sabeeh Al-Sabeeh on Monday said that she hopes 2016 would be a year of change and review to help realize the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
"We hope that 2016 will be a year of change and review of the outcome of all conferences, studies and inventions, so that we would achieve all the SDGs that the Arab leaders endorsed last September," Al-Sabeeh told KUNA.
She made the statement during the opening of the cottage industry fair held on the ordinary 35th session and fifth substantive session of the Council of the Arab Ministers of Labor Social Affairs in Egypt's Sharm El-Sheikh resort.
In the meantime, the minister lauded the noble goals of organizing fairs for the productive families, likely to help them offer their products to the public.
Al-Sabeeh said that the Kuwaiti government supports cottage industries and helps producer families take part in foreign fairs and exhibitions. Today's fair displays hand-made products, carpets, clothes, drawings, women handbags and upholstery.
