An examiner once wrote a note on his answer book “the examinee is better than the examiner”. First in the entrance examination to the University of Calcutta and a gold medallist in Master of Law examination, there cannot be a better role model for students than Desh Ratna Dr Rajendra Prasad. President of the Indian National Congress, President of the Constituent Assembly to frame the constitution of India, President of India for two terms, and a Bharat Ratna recipient, he went on to live in his thatched hut after leaving Rastrapati Bhawan.
Dr Prasad’s birthday falls on the 3 December. Maurya Kala Parisar, Kuwait is organising a debate competition 'Mind Spark' for school students in Kuwait to commemorate his memories.
Entries are invited from students of class 8th to 11th.
The exciting topics are:
1. “Internet & Social Media are making people less intelligent”
2. “India needs Presidential form of government”
Speakers can chose any one of the above topics
Upon receipt of their entries, speakers will be informed by the organizers to speak either “For” or “Against” the topic.
Duration of the speech should be between 3 to 5 minutes.

Date of competition: Friday, 19 December, 2014
Teachers, schools and parents are requested to encourage their ward to participate in this prestigious competition.
Schools with maximum participation and teachers of winners will be specially recognized.
