McDonald’s Kuwait hosted a two day carnival in celebration of its 20 years anniversary. The “20 Years of Smiles” carnival was held at the Corniche branch on the Arabian Gulf road on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th of March.
To commemorate its 20 year anniversary in Kuwait, the “20 Years of Smiles” carnival was held at McDonald’s first ever restaurant in Kuwait, the Corniche branch which opened in 1994. Today McDonald’s has 69 restaurants spread over the country and around 2,500 employees.
The two-day event was full of various acts and attractions, as well as plenty of fun-filled activities that were enjoyed by the whole family. The event was full of carnival themed acts ranging from aerialists, fire drummers, glow in the dark robots and butterflies, stilt walkers, monocycles, jugglers and ice sculptors. There was also a kite flying show showcasing the iconic McDonald’s characters, in addition to balloon sculptors and face painting for all the children.
An eco-light display was also placed along the seaside exhibiting pictures of milestone events of McDonald’s 20 years history in Kuwait. “It was truly a fun and exciting event, a memorable and enjoyable experience for all those who came to share our celebration,” said Adel Fahmy, Marketing Manager at McDonald’s Kuwait.
