December 12, 2015, 12:16 pm

Maurya Kala Parisar, the ever active Indian association, held its annual Yoga and Sports day on Friday, 11 December at Fintas. On the occasion, MKP also bid farewell to an active family of Nadim Azami. The whole family especially the children had been energetically participating in various association events.  After spending many years in the country, the Azamis are leaving Kuwait.

The MKP’s 20th Anniversary celebration was announced for 15 January as part of Maurya Manch at the Indian Embassy auditorium and a very special guest was invited as chief guest, the name to be announced soon.

Brajgupt Maurya , the famous yoga teacher from Bihar School of Yoga, presented the yoga session. Several members followed his simple instructions and performed some advanced asanas in the green surroundings.

A beautiful sunny day provided a good environment for sports. The Sports Day featured a spirited cricket match between MKP A and MKP B teams. Children participated in competitions and ladies too had their own show of sporting prowess. Gold, silver and bronze medals were awarded to winners.

MKP committee thanked members who worked hard to organize the event, namely Syed Shabih, Sabir Ansari, Vivek Sinha, Ramesh Kumar and Abhay Kashyap.

MKP is an association of people related to the Indian states of Bihar and Jahrkhand and is registered with Indian Embassy, Kuwait. MKP invites all like-minded people to join the association.
