Maurya Kala Parisar organizes 'Maurya Manch' variety stage show

The ever active Maurya Kala Parisar, Kuwait  is presenting its Second Maurya Manch event in the evening at 3:30 pm. The Ambassador of India to Kuwait, H.E. Sri Sunil Jain will be inaugurating the event. Maurya Manch is a variety cultural show presented by MKP members and invitees.

The show features variety entertainment items such as dances, songs, orchestra, and a short play on culture and themes from India, some especially from eastern part of the country. 

The inaugural  'Maurya Manch' of 2013 was held in a school auditorium fileld with an audience who were captivated by the speech of then Ambassador of India, H.E. Sri Satish Mehta talking about great administrators and leaders from the region. The ethusiastic crowd also shouted out  “encore” on dance and song numbers by youth and adults.

Among the most active bodies in Kuwait, the association has conducted several cultural and sports events this year which have been firsts of its kind. Ethnic Food Festival showcased the popular cuisines of eastern India, Dinkar Poetry Awards for school children and Sports & Wellness Day which also marked the beginning of Yoga Classes by one the members are some of the events conducted in the year 2014.

'Maurya Manch' being the headline event of the association is planned to be bigger and grander this year. Maurya Kala Parisar is a cultural and social association of people connected to the Indian state of Bihar and Jharkhand, active since 1995. The association registered with Indian Embassy in Kuwait is dedicated to promotion of arts, culture and social service among Indian community in Kuwait. The organization gets its name from the Maurya Dynasty of Patliputra of ancient India. 

This is a unique opportunity to witness the rich tapestry of Indian culture painstakingly prepared and presented. Entry is by Invitation only. Interested persons can request passes by providing their contact detail through e-mail.

The association uses this opportunity to invite those in Kuwait either past/present residents of or associated with the state of Jharkhand and Bihar and other like-minded individuals and families to become member and participate in its various cultural, social and developmental activities in future.
