Several cooperative societies have been accused of cheating citizens and expatriates through discount sales and promotions organized without reporting to the Ministry of Commerce, which is in charge of regulating activities to prevent cheating and exploitation of consumers, reports Al-Shahid daily.

They said the cooperative societies union failed to comply with the decisions of the Ministry of Commerce in controlling prices, and the prices of 30 commodities were reduced without referring to the Ministry of Commerce.
