LuLu Hypermarket, the leading retailer in the region, is celebrating Diwali, the Indian ‘Festival of Lights’, with a special promotion, ‘Diwali Delights 2015’. The celebrations, which ran from 4 to 14 November at all LuLu outlets in Kuwait, was replete with exciting competitions, promotions and a delectable variety of mouthwatering Diwali sweets. The main attraction during the 11-day promotion period was the ‘Rangoli competition’ at the hypermarket’s Al Rai branch on 14 November.
A total of ten teams, with four members per team, competed to design the best ‘Rangoli’ art. The first place winner received a valuable gift voucher worth KD100 while the second and third prize winners were given KD75 and KD50 respectively, in addition to consolation prizes for all the participants. Traditional Diwali sweets prepared to exacting standards were available at amazing prices during the festival period.
