The Public-Private Partnership Projects Authority is assessing offers it has received for three lucrative projects, the authority's Director General Mutlaq Al-Sane said on Thursday.
Speaking to KUNA while meeting with an economic delegation from the UAE capital of Abdu Dhabi, Al-Sane noted that the three projects deal with the Al-Zour power station, waste disposal in Kabd area and renovations in Um-al Haiman station.
Moreover, he also revealed that the authority received offers for a recreational center in Aqaila area, which comprises an entertainment complex along with nutrition stores.
On other projects, Al-Sane said that the authority has laid the groundwork for a project to revamp nine schools, including nurseries. Meanwhile, on the UAE delegation's visit, he said that it was part of efforts to boost bilateral economic ties, which will prove beneficial for both nations.
Head of the UAE delegation Khalifa Al-Mansouri said that he was impressed with the success of the partnership between Kuwait's public and private sectors, adding that the UAE is looking into similar endeavors.
