Senior Kuwaiti officials participating in GITEX 2015 week in Dubai have expressed keenness on installing state of art technology in all government sector. "Our ministry is working tirelessly to keep up with all of what is new in technology and the security field," Interior Undersecretary Assistant to Education and Training Affairs Major-General Sheikh Faisal Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah said in a statement to Kuwait Television.
Sheikh Faisal, who made his remarks after participating in Smart Government Conference, held as part of GITEX week of activities, said participants in the conference, which included GCC undersecretaries and senior officials from the Arab world, examined three major topics; technology, education and leadership.
Meanwhile, Director General of Kuwait Credit Bank Salah Al-Medhaf said in a statement that he focused on leadership, noting that such a topic is a major one in all government sectors.
For his part, Assistant Undersecretary in Information System at Kuwait Civil Services Ahmad Al-Abduljaleel said technology "is the new language of our times, which nowadays we can't live without." Al-Abduljaleel added that all government entities are keen to respond to guidance from the Cabinet, noting that the Government has already taken major steps in this regard.
