As summer vacation is starting in Saudi Arabia, Kuwaiti Embassy in Riyadh called on travelers who enter Saudi Arabia by car to abide by the country's road laws and regulations to ensure their safety.
The Kuwaiti Embassy said in a press release, Saturday, that road accidents have been on the rise. It added that at least 55 traffic-related deaths were recorded in the last 18 months.
The embassy advised travelers by car to avoid driving at nighttime and to watch for camels' familiar routes. It also recommended getting a car checkup before heading out on the road.
In emergency cases, the embassy urged Kuwaiti citizens to contact this number (+966-500-554-256) in order to get the needed help.
