Kuwaiti multilingual band the Al Hassan Brothers debuted their first album ‘Mi Luna’ and released their first music video on 12 April, 2017 both produced by AJNA Records. Al Hassan Brothers consists of Ali Al Hassan, Haitham Al Hassan, Mahmoud Al Hassan and Hassan Al Hassan Al Hassan, a group of four Kuwaiti guitarists who draw inspiration from various sources and their background from the music scene in Kuwait. The group was formed in the summer of 2015 and was signed to AJNA Records in 2016 under the guidance of music composer Nawaf Gheraibah.
‘Mi Luna’ is comprised of 12 tracks, performed in English, Arabic and Spanish. The album is composed of contemporary guitar melodies performed in various languages and their music pieces echo a range of music genres ranging from flamenco, Rock and Kuwaiti folk.
Their first single ‘Yo the Quiero’ is a beautifully haunting song composed about the loss of a loved one. The video was presented for the first time at the press conference on 12 April at the Center for Arts in Shuwaikh at 6pm.
Al Hassan Brothers will be performing at the Al Shaheed Park Amphitheater on 20 April, and will be backed by seven members of their supporting band: a drummer, bassist, two percussionists, an electric guitarist and a special Bahraini guest: guitarist Hamanino. The free concert is open to the public.
