A Kuwaiti, identified only as A.N., has been referred to the Central Prison for fighting alongside the Islamic State group or the so-called DAESH, reports Al-Shahed daily. The daily added, the man was whisked away for interrogation as soon as he landed at the Kuwait International Airport before putting him behind bars.
The Public Prosecution has remanded A.N. to 10 days police custody at the Central Prison while another compatriot, identified only as A.B., has been released on KD 1,000 bail but slapped a travel ban on him. A.B. was also arrested upon arrival at the airport and charged with fighting alongside terrorist groups.
