Kuwaiti-Saudi ties exemplary, deep-rooted - Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled

Acting Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah said Monday the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia enjoy close, historical and deep-rooted relationship.


The two countries maintain exemplary cooperation in all fields under the kind patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and King Salman bin Abdulaziz, he said.


Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled made the press remarks while attending a celebration to mark the National Day of Saudi Arabia at the Kingdom's embassy tonight.


"As Kuwait celebrated the 26th anniversary of its liberation earlier this year, all of us remember the sacrifices offered by Saudi Arabia since the first day of the liberation war," he said.


Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled congratulated King Salman, the Crown Prince Mohammad bin Nayef and the Deputy Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman as well as the brotherly people of Saudi Arabia on the National Day, and expressed best wishes for them on this occasion.


Meanwhile, His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah congratulated the leaders and people of Saudi Arabia on this occasion.


He expressed best wishes for the Kingdom under the wise leadership of King Salman, the Crown Prince Mohammad bin Nayef and the Deputy Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman.


On his part, Saudi Ambassador to Kuwait Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Fayez thanked the Kuwaiti senior officials and the large number of well-wishers for attended the celebration of his country's 86th national day.
