Kuwaiti-Romanian trading volume hit USD 111 mln in 2017 - KCCI

Trade volume between Kuwait and Romania came to USD 111 million last year, the Kuwaiti Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) said on Sunday.

Kuwait and Romania have shown a mutual desire to take bilateral ties to new levels, the KCCI's chair Ali Al­Ghanim said in a statement. Amid a visit to the chamber by Romania's Prime Minister Viorica Dancila, the Al­Ghanim said that there is untapped potential for greater bilateral trade.

On her part, Dancila acknowledged the private sector's increasingly significant contributions towards economic growth, saying that Romania offers bountiful opportunities for foreign investment.
