
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled AlHamad AlSabah met Tuesday with visiting GCC SecretaryGeneral AbdulLatif AlZayani, looking into the GCC General Secretariat strategy particularly in information technology.
AlZayani, currently on a twoday official visit to the country with company of a delegation, examined with Sheikh Sabah Khaled the GCC General Secretariat vision and strategy to overhaul its tasks, especially in the information technology sector.
The discussions also dealt with means to broaden interGCC cooperation through the council committees, in addition to cooperation and integration programs and the secretariat relentless action to empower the youth in the member countries be successful at international quarters.
Also attending the meeting were Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Khaled AlJarallah, Assistant Foreign Minister for Bureau Affairs of the Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Ambassador Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser AlMohammad AlSabah, Assistant Foreign Minister for Arabian Gulf States' Affairs Ambassador Nasser AlMzain, Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister for the Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Bureau Affairs Ambassador Saleh AlLoughani, Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister for Arabian Gulf States Affairs Abdullah AlMawed and other senior officials.
Attending from the GCC side was GCC Assistant Secretary General for Legislative and Legal Affairs Ambassador Hamad AlMeri, the Secretary General Media Advisor Hamad AlMenaee, Director General of the General Directorate for Information and Planning Abdulaziz AlNasser, Director of the Secretary General's Bureau and Director of the Information Technology Department Abdullah AlJarbou and Director of Planning Department Shaimaa AlMazrou'.
