Kuwait is in the 33rd position out of the 44 countries in Asia and 159th position out of 180 countries worldwide for touristic appeal in the year 2014-2015, according to recent statistics released by Spanish Bloom Consultancy Establishment, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.
Kuwait has thus improved by four positions compared to its previous rating among Asian countries in 2013, having obtained grade of ‘BBB’ which means ‘very good’ in the current global tourism rating.
United Arab Emirates tops the rating among Arab nations as it is 11th among Asian countries and 34th globally and has received ‘A’ classification. Saudi Arabia follows in the 13th position in Asia and 42nd in the world tourist destinations with ‘BBB’ classification. Lebanon shares the 13th position with KSA in Asia but on the 48th position globally with ‘very good’ rating.
The United States of America tops the global tourist destination ranking with ‘AAA’ classification, followed by Spain in second position with ‘AA’, Germany on third, Hong Kong on fourth and France on fifth position.
