Kuwait has deported 714 Nepalese over the past three months for violating residence laws, including 461 domestic workers who were working without official permits.
The report quoting Nepalese ambassador in Kuwait, added, “The Nepalese embassy in Kuwait has issued travel documents for those who do not have passports and handed them over to Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior.”
The daily quoting the same source said the embassy had issued 333 travel documents in January, 256 in February and 124 in March. The report also said, the number of Nepalese who are staying illegally in the country is nearly 5,000.
