
The Kuwaiti Embassy in Egypt, headed by Ambassador Mohammad Al-Thuwaikh, is closely following up the latest developments related to the murder of a Kuwaiti citizen in Egypt, Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Jarallah said on Saturday. Speaking to KUNA, Al-Jarallah added that the ambassador and the embassy's staff arrived today morning in Tanta governorate, in Egypt's Delta, where the incident occurred. They were briefed about the initial reports of Egypt's investigative bodies on the case, which identified robbery as the prime cause of the tragedy, he noted. Al-Jarallah expressed his sincere condolences to and sympathy with the family of the deceased, praying to Allah the Almighty to bless his soul with mercy in Paradise and bring solace to his family. He commended Egyptian authorities' remarkable attention and cooperation in handling the case, and stressed Kuwait's confidence in steps and measures taken by Egyptian security apparatuses in this regard.
